I was born in 1981 in Reykjavik, the capital of Iceland. I enjoy old paper, vinyl albums, old video games,
I have a BA degree in graphic design from The Icelandic Academy of the Arts.
Vamm Magazine - Editor
This is not a portfolio site. I know nothing about Flash, HTML or CSS so this site is as basic as it gets.
Bobby Breidholt
snow, cassette inlay cards, watercolors, beige, turqoise, lavender, girls in high heels, postcards,
lame souvenirs, languages, finding things, abandoned office buildings, old wood, the sea, mountains,
deloreans and countaches, hot blondes from the eighties, discovering, bass, handclaps and rhythm sticks,
smoothness, yachts, the alps, science, history, zombies, smelling books and swimming with sharks.
I am a freelance illustrator and designer.
I also studied handicrafts. So if you want some alligator wallets and a coat made from bee furs,
give me a call.
Vamm was a short-lived (11 issues) lifestyle/music magazine written, printed and given away for free in
Reykjavik. I miss it very much.
Jonsson & Le'Macks - Designer, Copywriter
My brief but exciting year-and-a-half in the fast and glamourous world of advertising. Clients and accounts
I worked on included 66°N, SAAB, Pepsi, Eymundsson, Hive, Icelandair, Reyka Vodka etc.
Iceland Airwaves Festival - Copywriter, Designer
I started working for the festival in 2005, handing out passes and information at the Media Center.
Then I started writing their newsletter and content for their webpage. I also do some occasional design
work for them.
The Naked Ape - Designer, Copywriter
I've been working with The Naked Ape gang almost since day one, doing prints, design work, writing their
newsletter and I've even done a bit of modeling for them.
H&M - Designer
H&M Divided contacted The Naked Ape to do a collaboration for their "Art By" line. They wanted some
Icelandic prints and I was of the right nationality. I'm thrilled that something I designed is now sitting
in some bargain bin in the world's biggest fashion retailer.
etc
Besides, I'm against all blinking, pulsating, swooshing graphics, so I like it better this way.
I'm not making any promises about the frequency of updates.
